DJ KENJI
Community & Social Growth Manager
Hey there! I’m Kenji—also known as DJ Kenji! I’m a Journalism graduate from Canada with over six years of experience exploring the worlds of Gaming and Web3. I specialize in creating meaningful connections through community building, storytelling, and cutting-edge digital experiences.
Finding My Voice
Why do I consider myself an all-rounder? Honestly, it’s not just something I’ve decided—it’s what people tell me after working with me. I’ve been called a creative mind, one of the best hosts in Web3, and someone people genuinely enjoy being around. I try to keep things professional while still building real connections, and it seems to resonate.
I care a lot about my reputation and always aim to put the community first. I do my best to fight for what they want and need, making sure their voices are heard. When it comes to hosting AMAs, I put my all into making them engaging and fun. Guests often tell me, “You’re the best AMA host and just a great guy.”
At the end of the day, I’m all about bringing creativity, positivity, and a genuine approach to everything I do—whether it’s hosting, collaborating, or supporting the community.
Advisor Role
Thanks to my experience in Web3 and managing large Discord communities, I’ve often been approached to work as an advisor—whether on the product side or for security. With my background in cybersecurity, I’ve helped countless projects protect their communities from backdoor drainer traps and other security threats, ensuring holders never have to worry about server hacks.
On the product side, I’ve used my experience to guide project teams, helping them avoid common pitfalls and bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table. By applying lessons I’ve learned from previous projects, I’ve been able to help teams innovate and stand out in the space, turning old challenges into new opportunities.
AMA's & Hosting
When I first entered Web3, I was incredibly shy. I hesitated to speak on public Twitter Spaces, but I had a mission: to sell out the project Apocalyptic Apes. That drive pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I started hosting AMAs, "DJ" Parties, and Townhalls.
Over time, I discovered that these were my moments to shine, away from the competition in the space. I found a way to create unique, memorable experiences in Web3, using my knowledge to speak on a range of topics—both broad and niche—in a way that kept audiences engaged and made complex ideas easy to understand. What started as a challenge quickly became one of my biggest strengths.
